Continuing with Sacagawea Sculpture

Here are two small timelapse videos showing more work on the maquette of Sac.agawea in Chavant's Clayette in Soft. I like this clay because it doesn't stick to my fingers and especially my tools as much as some of the other clays. It is buttery smooth and blends together nicely. Perhaps their Medium would have been a better choice for something small like this and save the Soft for larger works, but soft is what I had on hand it is lovely, just requires a very light touch. 

I take off the braids while working on the dress and arms to make it easier to sculpt and replace them later.
