Waiting on the #9" ©Lori Kiplinger Pandy
Bronze edition of 20 (18"H x 7"D x 9"W)

While traveling Switzerland and Italy, I was intrigued with the casual confidence of the people navigating the cities by bus and train. Envious of these seasoned commuters, as I struggled to be on the right platform at the right time, I was inspired to sculpt the essence of the smug, lazy confidence of these European travelers.

I created this elegant young woman, sassy little date purse dangling from one finger, waiting for her train, to celebrate this cavalier attitude.
