FMD #22

I started over with a new mini-portrait. Different clays will yield different results and I decided to use a softer more buttery clay for a softer look. This meant starting from scratch to build a new armature and block in the bust and make the hat.

Even hats need armatures. I am using a wire mesh to create the shape of the hat, especially as it has such a large brim.
